My name is Becca Mercer, and I’m an artist and designer passionate about creating work that inspires joy and connection — from original paintings to locally inspired illustrations and brand design for small businesses. Every project is approached with heart, creativity, and a touch of playful curiosity.

At the heart of Oh Be Joyful Creative is my genuine care for people and the joy of helping them bring their ideas to life. I founded the studio over a decade ago with the belief that creativity is most powerful when it serves others—when it reflects who they are and what they value.

I combine artistic vision with practical strategy, drawing on experience in branding, design, communication, and creative direction. My goal is always to listen closely, understand deeply, and craft designs that capture each client’s unique personality and style. Much of my work—digital or otherwise—features my own illustrations, typography, and paintings, adding a personal, handcrafted touch to each project.

With a background in Communication & Media and a love of fine art, I bring both creativity and clarity to every collaboration. Whether developing a brand, refining content, or creating custom artwork, I aim to make the process personal, collaborative, and joyful.
